If it feels complicated, then it probably is.

Does it feel like you are not even speaking the same language anymore? Like every conversation turns into tension or avoidance? A lot of people talk about communication, but very few know how to navigate the conversations that actually matter. The ones that feel risky. The ones that you worry might blow everything up.

At Connected Threads Therapy, I help you untangle what is really happening. You can then say what needs to be said, and find your way back to clarity, connection, and steadiness.

About

Why Work With Me?

“I try to tell people what they need to hear, but in a way that will actually land for them.” Jennifer Fuller, LMFT

I work well with people and relationships that don’t fit neatly into boxes. I’m comfortable with complexity, nuance, and conversations that might feel risky to say out loud. Clients often tell me they feel safe here. Not because I agree with everything they say, but because I’m steady, direct, and not easily rattled. You don’t have to explain your relationship structure, your desires, or your identity before we can get to work.

I’m honest without being harsh. I pay attention to what needs to be said, as well as to how feedback lands. I use humor when it helps, and I challenge when it matters. Whether you’re coming in on your own or with partners, my goal is to help you understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface. Then, I provide you with insight during our session along with tools that work outside our session.

My Therapy Approach

How My Therapy Works

Therapy here is honest and grounded in what is actually happening. Let’s slow things down, make sense of the mess, and focus on changes you can sustain outside our sessions.

Slow Down

When everything feels tangled, the first step isn’t to fix it. We slow things down so emotions settle, patterns become visible, and conversations stop spiraling, in order to create space for our work.

Untangle

Once there is more space, we start to untangle what is happening beneath the surface. Misunderstandings get clarified, communication shifts, and new options start to emerge.

Make It Sustainable

Insight only matters if it holds up in real life. Sustainability focuses on building communication, boundaries, and agreements that you can actually maintain over time.

No. I am a private pay practice and do not accept insurance. This allows me to work more flexibly and thoughtfully without the restrictions that often come with insurance based care. I can provide a superbill upon request if you would like to pursue out of network reimbursement.

You may be a good fit if you are looking for a therapist who is comfortable with nuance, direct without being harsh, and able to talk about hard or taboo topics without judgment. I tend to work best with people who want honesty, clarity, and practical tools rather than vague reassurance. If you are unsure, a consultation is the best place to start.
